Before we were married DH said we always would now today he mumbled something about 'well isn't it only the wedding anniversary that really matters?'

Re: Do any of you still celebrate....

Make him a special dinner and celebrate even if he doesn't know he's going to!!
My parents still celebrate thier dating anniversary sometimes...for the big ones.....one year, we all watched 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid' together as a family on their dating anniversary, becasue that was the movie they saw on thier first date.....

Re: Do any of you still celebrate....

just like palebride we celebrate all anniversaries.

the only thing that drives DH crazy is when i do MONTHS -- like i did our first year of dating and i started to do with our first couple of months married. he says that's a little too much! i guess i can get a little carried away...

Re: Do any of you still celebrate....

I never really celebrated a dating anniversary when we are dating...maybe once or twice we used it as an excuse to go out to a nice dinner but that was in our early years of dating (we dated over 6 years). In fact I am not even sure what ours is (but I am sure DH will now - lol) - I think it is early July ... so, no, we do not celebrate our dating anniversary now that we are married.

Re: Do any of you still celebrate....

For some reason, Tom is incredibly sentimental, and he wanted to celebrate all of our monthly dating anniversaries before we got married....it was so cute!
we don't celebrate the months anymore though.....

Re: Do any of you still celebrate....

We never really celebrated any of the anniversaries ... maybe because our 'dating anniversary' was a couple of days after DH's birthday and we also got engaged on his birthday, so we are always celebrating around then anyway.
