Yep. his anme is miserable to pronounce but his and mine together was just too long and I really dont have an issue taking his name at all. In my mind, thats just part of marriage so it doesn't bug me at all.

I never planned on changing my name, but on the flight back home from our HM, I had alot to drink and was feeling really mushy and romantic. I looked at him and said, 'I'm going to take your last name!' He said, 'Whatever you want to do', but I could tell that he was really happy about it.

I took my DH's last name. It took me 4 months to get it done. There are still some places where I didn't change my name, like my passport. I'm just going to wait for it to expire.

Sort of. I changed it legally on my ssn but not yet on my license. I made my maiden name my legal middle name b/c my law degree and my OT degree are all in my maiden name. However, if I call and order a pizza or anything, I still use my maiden name. It's out of habit I guess.

I am going to change it legally (in the process of that now) But on email and most personal things i hyphenate it. I cant let go of CRUZZZZZZZ

I took his name - although, I'm not gonna lie, when I was at the DMV I shed a little tear. I loved my maiden name and it was very hard to part with - most people don't even use my first name, they call me by my last so that was a little difficult. But everyone decided they didn't care what my last name was, they still address me as 'maidenname' which is just fine with me.

I am going to keep my maiden name professionally, but will prob change my license and everything to his last name- but everyone keeps telling me what a pain it is to change everything that I have just put it off! Eventually I'll get around to it.... probably
