My Dad keeps bugging us about taking it out. I'm only 24 and DH is only 27. I don't want to think about stuff like life insurance and wills, but I guess it's important to now.
So have you and your DH taken this step?

We both have life insurance of our own from our jobs and State Farm so we are set until we do a will. I have never thought of wills at our age but it is something to think about down the road.

DH has life insurance through his job; I don't have any. No will either; I guess we really should write something up.

I have both and DH just has life insurance we actually need to have DH get his WIll done.

we have through my job... (life insurance, no will)
but we're actually thinking about doing DNRs since that is something we both would want (god forbid we'd need it)... but after Steve's accident, you can't be too safe!

We eahc have a life insurance policy through our jobs to cover funeral costs, heaven forbid something happens.
We will be getting a will soon since we own a home and we want to be covered for anything.

Not yet but we're hoping to do it soon and also going to do the living will thing because neither he nor I want to be kept on respirators if we are pronounced brain dead. His mom would respect that. Mine would unfortunately make another Shivo case because she doesnt believe me even when I TELL her that what I want...
I donated my inner organs to science and I also want to be cremated so we need to put it all in writing.
I HATE thinking about it-chokes me up when I think about life isurance but you never know...a friend of a good friend of ours just dropped dead while out at dinner. He was only 36. It was a brain anyurism? (spelling?)
Best to be preppared I guess.

We don't have either, it is something that definetly needs to be done. I don't know why we keep putting them off and you would think that we would have life insurance since we both work in the industry.

my father opened a life insurance policy on me and my siblings when we were babies/.. I *officially* take it over next september (i.e: will be paying 600+ a year for it---oy)

I recieve life insurance through my job. My mom is an insurance broker and is going to write up an additional policy for the both of us.
We don't have a will right now, we will probably do that once we have a house and start having children.

I have a will for me about DD, both me n DH have LI thru work, but mine is ridiculously minimal, we will get more in the near future.

DH is still in school. No life insurance for him. Right now, I'm the breadwinner, therefore I have a large policy.....

We both have minimal policies through our job. Last year after our son was born we took out a more substantial policy covering all of us.
You dont really need a large policy unless you have children and/or a mortgage.
