Do you believe this?

I'm moving at work down the hall, so my 2 attorneys and the other 2 attorneys in my section (who I used to work for) were all told that they have to pack up their own offices because they are not paying for any extra help (typical, huh). And they were also told that they have to help me, since I'm pregnant and am not lifting a finger.

Well, my ex-boss REFUSES to pack for himself -- hey, why should he? When we moved from our other building to this one, I HAD TO PACK HIS OFFICE UP!!!! He is so friggin arrogant and I guess this is beneath him, but obviously not me!! So he was sitting in there all morning pouting because he has to do it himself -- GROW UP, while everyone else is packing up around him. Meantime, not one of these guys came over to me and helped me! The office manager (a woman in her 60s) and the paralegal I work for (an itty bitty thing) did it all!!!

WHERE ARE THE MEN?????? HOW THE HECK DID THEY MAKE IT THROUGH LAW SCHOOL???? I'm telling ya, they are the laziest things and think that everybody owes them something. Let me tell you what they are owed -- A WAKE UP TO REALITY CALL!!!!!

My ex-boss seems to think that if he doesn't come in tomorrow, when the move will take place, that it will all be done for him on Monday. Newsflash buddy, NOTHING will be done for you!!!

I just had to vent because it was ******* me off all day!!! When I told him that he was supposed to help me, he ignored me. Typical -- just like he ignored me for every single Secretaries Day I worked for him. Well pffffffttt to you, you big jerk!

That is horrible but I've seen it many times in offices.Some men feel like its beneath them to help others. I hope they at least carry the boxes for you.

Sue, they carried nothing!!! The 2 women did it all!! I just carried over some paper. They see I'm tired, but they don't care!!!! And they wonder why I have an attitude here!!!

My boss does this to me ALL THE TIME!!! When we moved, he left it completely up to me to pack and move 12 HUGE BOXES OF CD'S!!!!!

When we get a soda delivery, HE WILL LEAVE IT IN THE HALL IN FRONT OF HIS OFFICE BECAUSE HE REFUSES TO LIFT IT AND PUT IT IN HIS FRIDGE HIMSELF!!! I refuse to do it now!!!!

Anyway do not take one chance with the health of your baby! Not for any reason. I cannot believe that would even want you to. And get your resume together. You need to work for non-jerks!

As for the ex-lax, GREAT idea, but I DON'T DO COFFEE!! I told them that a long time ago -- I'm not a waitress, so you get it yourself!!!

Oh Gosh Deb ... I can so relate. I actually got one of my managers in a little bit of trouble, because he asked me to lift some boxes, all part of this event I organized, and no one helped except two female colleagues. The officer on the floor, asked him if he wanted a worker's compensation case on his hands. I was ****ed off ... so humiliating!!!

My goodness....what a bunch of pigs!!!!! If you do coffee...may I suggest squirting some mysterious lotion all over their keyboards?

It's now almost 5 and tweedle dee and tweedle dum (my 2 ex-bosses), STILL haven't packed a thing!! Meanwhile the move is starting bright and early tomorrow!!!!

And it's not just MEN, it's ATTORNEYS -- no offense to any atty out there, but these guys are unbelievable!!!

In my next life, I'm not having anything to do with them!!

We have been trying to convince men that women are equally capable of everything men can do for SO long that they are afraid to help a woman these days because she might creat a big controversy over it! And especialy these men being lawers and all! they know how it works first hand!
