I am a police officer and I work 7-3. That is it. But I swear when people see me WITHOUT my uniform on they feel the need to ask me questions or even report crimes. Now I have no problem helping you out if you are hurt or in need of care, But when it is something like ' I got a parking ticket can you help me' (Yeah park where the Heck you are suppose to) I hate to go to cookouts when people ask the all time fav. questions/ Do you have your Gun on you. Or can I see your gun. (Hello It is not a toy) Does anyone else get question that are work related at the craziest times. I mean no one goes up to an gynecologist to ask them about there patients, or a mortician and ask them how did they die. I have a life outside of my career.

yes, i'm a speech pathologist and i ALWAYS get questions about people's grandparents, kids, siblings, etc!

DH and I work at a college so occasionally we'll run into students off-campus and they'll ask us questions. I love when they're like, 'What classes should I take next semester?' when we're in line at the grocery store.

I am a therapist so yes people ask me stuff all the time OR think I am analyzing them--um no it's work and I don't do it for free and can't do it for people I know!

Depends. I have a work cell so if someone calls me after hours I could potentially have to do something.

Same here...I'm soooo stressed out right now. So much to do, don't know where to begin. I just formatted my schedule for the year...oh man I'm asking for a rough one.
