Do you ever feel like a third wheel when you get together with DH and his brother?

DH's brother just moved back into town. Every night they play poker together online (DH at home, BIL at his home), while on the phone with each other. When we have family stuff with his family all they do is talk to each other. They almost have their own language. I don't want to compete with their relationship, but I feel like DH is starting to ignore me completely with BIL back in the picture. Oh, and when I mentioned it he said I was being ridiculous, that I see him all the time. I don't count seeing him sleep as seeing him.

I don't feel like a 3rd wheel, but my DH is close with ALL of his family - I swear I think he speaks to them more during the day than me so I do emphatize with you

Trust me, I can relate. DH and his brother are twins and sometimes I feel like I'm second best.

All the time!! DH and my BIL are really close. they are both run the family company so they call each other constantly. I adore my BIL but sometimes enough is enough!

My DH and his brother are twins also, but they don't have any cosmic connections. What bugs me is that when they're together they get REALLY competitive, so much so that it's extremely uncomfortable for all in their company. Then they call each awful things one second, and the next they're best friends again. It's incredibly embarrassing, frustrating and exhausting to be in their company...
