Do you find now that you are married...........

People are asking ... so when are you going to have kids? You should wait... wait are you pregnant yet? You may as well enjoy this time before the kids come along... or the best one yet- wait till you have kids, it is like putting the nail in the coffin!!!!
It just annoys me that people are asking this and also asking about my sex life.. yes people are curious but it is NONE of there business!
I just had to vent.
I am finding that people have comments all the time if it is not one thing it is another thing- it used to be why a 2 year enagagement......

I found that out at the wedding. I had people asking me how long we are going to wait to have kids. Now i laugh about it because once i said we are trying to have kids they said 'but you just got married' and then i said but we have been together for five and a half years and have been living together for 2and a half. Then they go quiet. I love to see them speachlesss.

If I hear 'when are you having kids' one more time I will scream!!

Also, every symptom means I must be pregnant. If I say I have a headache, right away people ask if I am.

After our HM return, I've gotten so sick of these questions and later learned to deal with them. Now the babies questions, yes... 'When are the babies (pural) coming?' Hello!!! We just got married and still trying to establish our lives and build a strong foundation together, professionally, spiritually, etc... Financially we're having hard times and cannot have children right now.

Surprisingly no one has said much about kids yet but that may be because we made our plans known before the wedding.

That as of the wedding whatever happens happens and after the winter we will actively try.

Oh geez....I get that question at least once a week. My lack of tolerance for it is up there with the other weekly question...'so, hows married life?' Why can't people just go back to making stupid comments about the weather if they feel the need to make meaningless conversation!!

Actually - the only person who is bothering me on that is my dad - but he was bothering me about that before the wedding!!
I am actually giving myself pressure about it because I feel like so many of my friends are having kids right now! Don't worry - I won't do anything rash!

We have been asked so many times in the last 3 weeks. At our reception, FI's niece said to us that she would like some cousins soon. We told her, can we be married more than a couple of hours.

same here...I think it's hilarious but we get the 'You should wait' more than the 'are you pregnant yet' maybe cuz no one knows we're on the verge of trying....
