Do you guys fight a lot? Over what?

just want to see what other couples fight over. what is the norm?

I think that I usually initiate the fights. Brad is so easygoing. Usually, fights are about me feeling that he doesn't take responsibility for enough in the house, or about finanicial issues.

DH and I don't really fight. There have been times when an argument might have ensued over something, like once he wanted to use a hand towel from the bathroom to dry the dishes when we had no clean dish towels, and I told him I thought that was gross. I convinced him to use paper towels but I don't know if I would have let an argument erupt over it. We are both generally laid-back.

I think most of the things we disagree on are so small and we both know that those aren't important. If we ever do argue over small things I hope I have the wisdom to realize that there is probably more going on beneath the surface! I defer to him on money matters because he is better at that than I am.

I think, too, that we compromise well. But when we have kids I won't be surprised if we clash over some things then.

there are only 2 things that we always fought over....his constant trips away with the boys to LV (b/c of the $$$) - can't he just go to AC? and we talk about what needs to be done and he volunteers for certain tasks and then never does them...I nag...we fight

Money and him not doing enough around the house. I think this is pretty normal for newlyweds, or at least I hope it is.

Not helping around the house and making a mess of it!!!!!! And going out all the time with his friends. Girls included

Us too, and going out all the time with his friends (and like last night, rolling in at 6AM...).

My DH rolled in around 4am It's so annoying but I know he needs time with his friends.

We rarely fight! Ray is always doing more than his share around the house. We have silly disagreements like 'which bush in the front yard to chop down first' or 'What store to go look at furniture'

We don't fight to often but lately everytime I bring up the issue of us buying a house it turns into an argument. I'm doing all the research while DH is content w/being completely oblivious of the whole process!

I think it's depends who you ask. I think if you were to ask him, he would say yes, we fight alot. But if you ask me, we fight a 'normal' amount. That's because most of our fights aren't 'real' fights, IMO, and are resolved literally within minutes.

But when we do argue, it's usually about who's not doing their share of the responsibilities - be it work around the house, errands, etc... That's #1, #2 is financial issues, #3 is control issues (because we are both control freaks).

I guess we really don't fight much but yesterday we had a big one....over Scrabble. He is always cheating and I caught him doing it and it blew up into a huge fight!!!

oh my

i sooo hate my dh cheats at scrabble!!! I always have to remind him that my gpa in college was a point higher than his!!!!

We don't really fight all that often, usually just a lot of nagging eachother and bickering like an old married couple.

We don't see each other enough to fight ! That is a good thing!!!! I miss him when he is not around and then come the weekend by Sunday night I am DYING for my own space again!

OMG!! that is soo how it is here...when DH is gone on a 24hr tour...i miss him terribly!!
but then sometimes when he's home and nagging over something stupid, I'm like, 'when do you go back to work??'
