I don't always. My DH is actually better at it than me. It's nice when he writes something sweet.

Yes we write something to eachother. DH usually writes more

Not really. I tend to find cards that say what I feel. No need repeating it!

he does not write jack in my cards except love william. the ONLY time I got anything remotely sweet was when he sent flowers to me on my 30th bday; i still have the card in my desk drawer:

Silvana, Happy 30th Birthday!!! I still love you so much even though you are so old now but it's okay because one day you will be a MILF. I hope you have a great day. Love, William



lucky for him we got engaged that night, so i let it slide... and from him that IS a compliment.

I do prefer a note (or a novel lol) if the card is from DH or close family or friends... if not so close then I don't mind if they just write from so and so.

We do, but DH writes me the longest messages, I on the other hand don't.

I ALWAYS write a little note in the card, even if I feel like the card 'says it all.' DH sometimes writes notes and sometimes doesn't. He tries using the, 'But the card says everything I am feeling' line but I usually give him a hard time anyway

yes, yes, yes!! I do not appreciate cards from people unless they actually write something in it. It does not have to be long, deep, and meaningful. But at least write SOMETHING other than your name, please!! If it's just signed, I throw it away. It's the 'real' ones that I save.

Sadly, DH doesn't do the whole card thing. He thinks that he's such a bad writer, but he definitely is NOT! I wish he'd do it more often. oh well

I always write notes. I always get my friends and DH cards just because. I usually get blank ones and write a little note. DH has been writing more lately because he knows that I like when he writes stuff.

yes we both always write a little something to each other. it makes it more personalized

Yes absolutely-I think it's so sweet. I always try write personal notes in the cards I give (not just for DH)

He better! I cant stand cards that have a pre-written note and then you see To: and Love, and thats it...grrr...not to knock anyone down..it just erks me
