Do you remember walking down the aisle at your wedding?

Original post by beautyq115

I remember when I first walked in and then it gets fuzzy after the half way point...it was a long aisle.

I remember the church doors swinging open and flashes everywhere. I remember not looking at anyone but DH the entire way down the aisle. I will never forget that moment.

great thread! I loved reading all of your stories!

I remember walking in with my dad and looking from side to side with this super cheese grin - i remember thinking 'OMG GET OUT OF THE WAY I WANT TO SEE FH!!' i didnt see him until the very end bc everyone was in the aisle! everyone talks of walking in and seeing no one else but FH but i seriously didnt see him until i was right in front of him!!

then after my dad kissed me, i went to take FH's hand and I took the wrong hand so we did this awkward handshake thing LOL then we grabbed hands and walked up to the altar. ..

yeah i do. right before the doors opened and i heard the music i started to cry like a baby! i couldnt believe that moment had come that i would be getting married. then walking down to DH i had the biggest smile on my face we locked eyes and were both just so happy. i knew right then that i was about to marry the best guy in the world. ill never forget that moment. thats the only moment out the the whole wedding i could remember 100%!!!!

I have a very vivid memory of it I totally tuned out the music and the church lady who was chattering away about something as she fluffed out the back of my dress. The doors at my church are all glass so I could see everyone and how packed the church was. My Dad took off with this huge stride and the limo guy and church lady were yelling at us to slow down. My Dad was actually talking to me as we walked down and I had to remind him people could hear us. The sun was setting so it was kind of hard to see and there seemed to be a ton of people leaning out in to the aisle so my view of DH was totally blocked. I smiled the whole way down and glanced around to see all of our friends and family who were there. I felt like we ran down the aisle we were sooo fast but I was way too excited to walk so slow.
