Our 8 year anniversary (dating) is coming up in August and i mentioned this to DH... and he was said 'what are you talking about? Our anniversay isnt until next April' to me, this will still be a special day for me, but got me thinking...
Do any of you married ladies still celebrate your dating anniversary or is it something that kind of gets forgotten after a while??

It's funny you bring this up because our 4 year dating anniversary is July 5th.
We probably won't celebrate it...because...well...we never really celebrated it anyway. We would say...'Happy Anniversary'.

I want to. Next February would be our 11 year Anniversary and is also the day we first kissed so it's especially meaningful to us!

Well we got married on July 9 and our dating anniversary is July 10 soooo probably not...or I'll just extend the celebration two days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This year we will be in Costa Rica for both soo we WILL be celebrating :

I said to DH 'our 4 year anniversary is coming up this month (we began dating 7/29/02)...his response? 'there is only one day that counts anymore...he is a real hopeless romantic, huh?

We have always gone to dinner at the place we had our first date on our dating anniversary and we said we will continue to do that even though we are married.

We usually gte cards for eachother and go out for dinner... nothing crazy. It will be 10 yeas in April

No. We never really did anything to begin with. DH always hated it b/c it was May 29th and his birthday is December 29th and the first year we were together we'd take note of it every month and he didn't like that it infringed on his birthday. Men!!!

We do!!!! We are together 13 years. Celebrated every year so it is hard to stop now!!!!

We just had our 8 yr dating anniversary on 6/28 and we didnt 'celebrate' it with gifts or cards. We said it and went to Applebee's.

By the time our first dating anniversary came around we were already engaged so we didn't really celebrate it, we just went out to dinner but no gifts. We're coming up on our dating anniversary again and we'll prob do the same thing.

No. We only had one dating anniversary before we got engaged, so we're not really used to celebrating it. Also we were always confused as to which our actual anniversary date was - when we met online, or when we met in 'real life'. So I think it will be easier for us to stick to our wedding anniversary anyway.
