Do you still live in the city where you grew up

i was born and raised in brooklyn. i lived in canarsie for 30 yrs. i'm still in brooklyn. when we're ready to move, we'll look maybe in nassau or n.j.

Nope!! Lived on LI til I was 17, then moved to Providence, RI for 4 years, then to the DC area where I've been ever since (albeit in 4 different apts or houses since I got here!)

Nope, I grew up in Westbury and now am a suffolk girl living in Holbrook...I feel like I am in the sticks out here, but only b/c I lived so close to Roosevelt Field mall so traffic was crazy, so was shopping

Yes, I do. I grew up in Patchogue and I am still in Patchogue. But, I was born in Port Jefferson at St. Charles Hospital.

Gail, I grew up in Canarsie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I live in Malverne, with DH. He grew up here.

When we look for a house, it will be in Nassau but probably not in Malverne.

I was born in St. Charles too!

Raised in Selden where I lived until I was18.

Moved to Manhattan right after HS and have been here ever since. 11 Years now

East Flatbush, the house that my mom grew up in. I hung out near Marine Park and in Bayridge.

Nope. I lived in westbury for 2 years & then we moved to Roslyn Heights. I lived there until I was 11 & I've been in Levittown ever since, in my parents' house & now our apartment.

Next Door Went from Smithtown to Hauppauge to St. James to Kings Park. when we look for a house in Smithtown/Kings Park area.

No. I grew up in New City. DH and I are in Columbus, GA right now, but when we get out of the Army we hope to either move back to the New City area or get a house in CT.

where in canarsie? i lived in bayview house for 20 yrs. my sisters and i went to 211 and canarsie hs. i now live in marine park

I grew up in New Hyde Park, lived in Astoria and then Howard Beach for several years...DH and I bought a house in East Islip 1 month before our wedding! It sure is quiet out here!

This is a good topic. Nope.. I still work in NY but now have a rivalry within myself lol cause I went from Bronx girl to Jersey girl. If I have my way though, within 5 years I will be a N Carolina girl!
