Do you still live in the city where you grew up

i was born and raised in brooklyn. i lived in canarsie for 30 yrs. i'm still in brooklyn. when we're ready to move, we'll look maybe in nassau or n.j.

Not at all!
I was born and raised in Massachusetts.
Spent 5 years in Rochester NY for school.
Then moved in with my now husband in Rosedale Queens (he was born on Rosedale and moved to Holtsville as a kid).
Now we have been in Forest Hills Queens for 5 years.
Hopefully we'll be moving again within a year either out on the island or somewhere totally new!
