And if so, how far ahead after the wedding do you plan on getting pregnant?!

Re: Do you talk about getting preggers?
We talk about it, but we don't have a schedule. We're living in London right now and I don't want to be PG here, so I'm thinking we will try some time around our 4th anniversary.

Re: Do you talk about getting preggers?
We've only been married for 3 weeks and my family has already mentioned children several times in front of us at family gatherings. We both feel like there's no rush. I'd like to have a house first and enjoy married life for a while before having kids. I wouldn't mind starting a family in another 2-4 years.

the time will come soon (a year). it would be now but you need to be ready for it...you just can't have a kid and say you got one. we want to be $$ ready and have space in our new co-op

Re: Do you talk about getting preggers?
WE started trying 3 months before the wedding. As I'm 35 (DH is 37) and have been trying for 6 months we already had our infertility appt. and are now seeing an RE.

Re: Do you talk about getting preggers?
he wants to have a baby really bad. I said a year after teh wedding, this way I can stop the pill for a while. I want early then a year but we live in my parents basement, that has no windows, so its not a place for a baby.

Not until after I finish my doctoral coursework at a minimum that means end of 2007 to start trying, right now we are barely home the same non sleeping hours ...but you never know...

Re: Do you talk about getting preggers?
We agreed we'll try in two years. I wanted to have a baby before I was 30, but that's not going to happen. If I weren't worried about the age thing I would say 5 years at least. We're not mentally ready yet, but I don't want to miss the chance of having a healthy baby either .

Re: Do you talk about getting preggers?
We talk about it. We'll be married a year on Sunday and we're going to look for a house in the spring. Hopefully in 3-4 years we'll begin trying I'm just hoping it doesn't take a long time after that to conceive bye we'll see!

Re: Do you talk about getting preggers?
We're 'trying' right now, but I use the word loosely. I am off the pill now, so whatever happens, happens, but according to DH we're not trying, we're just not, not trying. Those are his words exactly.
