Do you think it is rude to ask the photographer to include a picture in your album that they didn't take?

I handed in all my pictures for my album(s) to our photographer. But there is this one picture that for some reason I really love, but it was taken by a guest.

What do you think? Do you think I can ask them to include it? Do you think they will be offended? It's nothing against there talent and skill, it's just this one digitial picture, I love.

OMG! I was wondering the same thing, but never had the guts to ask the photographer....

My Photographers would normally charge extra I believe to add pics that they did not take but they put a pic of my DH & daughter in that was taken from table camera at no charge because it was on my list of must take pics and it wasn't taken

We did. But our photographer told us that a regular picture or digital picture won't come out well, maybe it depends on how big it needs to be blown up?

No harm in asking. Some people capture great shots that the photographer doesn't. They should understand that.

We did this and I dont think my photographer minded at all. Im sure your photographer wants you to be happy.

Even if he did mind, I wouldnt care much. Its my album.

If they are offended they are being silly. Your album should be what you want! Absolutely ask to have this done.

I asked and they were fine with it but warned me that it wouldn't look the same quality-wise as the other pictures in the album. I didn't end up including that one.

I would just ask... At my brothers wedding for some reason they didnt have a pict of us, so he gave the photographer one that a guest had taken.... They didnt have a problem with it at all.

The photo I used was a digital from a very fancy camera. I did blow it up pretty big and it doesnt look quite as perfect as the other photos but I was okay with that.

If its a regular digital or you just have a scan of the photo, I would not blow it up.

We did it. I hired two photographers for my wedding (one American, one Indian). I had the photographer who was making my album include a few pics from the other. Hey I still paid her for her work!

We were just wondering the same thing! Some pictures that were taken by friends came out great and we wanted to include them in the album. We thought that it might be rude to ask and that they would say no...We decided that when we meet with the photographer next week, we will just ask...it cant hurt!
