I have not used it once. It sits on my counter doing nothing but taking up room. DH asked me what t was and I told him that it serves as a very expensive decoration of some sort or another! Ugh! I plan on using it for the holidays.... we'll see.

I use it all the time! I made cakes with it, pies, dough, biscotti, meringue everything. However I do not use my food processor. I have no idea how to use it or what its for.

I didn't even register for that. i have no idea when I would ever use it. If I was a baker maybe but my awesome macaroni and cheese dinners need to be mixed with a wooden spoon, only after the powdered cheese is added.

I honestly didn't even register for one & Im glad I didn't. I work out, so it's nothing I can't mix in a bowl with a whisk! I bake and cook alot, but I just felt like for $300 [and up] I just felt like it was very unncessary to register for!

We got ours as a gift right before the wedding and since we have so much stuff still left to unpack it's still sitting in the box!

I've been wondering the same thing about what the heck to do with it. But I really wanted it and was really excited when i got it!

Someone gave us the meat grinder attachment and someone else just sent us the ice cream maker attachment, so you can use it for more than mixing if you get the other pieces. We also registered for the juicer and the can opener attachments and there are some more.

I use it all the time. I've made cookie dough, cupcake batter, biscut dough, bread dough, mixed the meatball stuff and used it to make mashed potatoes. We just ordered the pasta attachements for it, so we can make our own fresh pasta. I am in love with it. We got the huge professional one and I have named Big Bertha!

I use mine for cakes and mashed potatoes. What a great idea to use it for the meatball mixture - instead of your hands!

I never got mine it was one of the major things I really really really wanted off our registry. I was sooo excited about it and was certain I'd get it. DH couldn't understand my excitement and would laugh at me when every time I'd see one when we were out, I'd stop and play with it. And I totally would be using it too! Especially at the holidays Maybe someday I'll get it.......

I have had this badboy for 8 months now and still haven't used it. I have about 4 more months to return it to BBB for a refund.

Do you use yours? What do you use it for?

it is the ultimate baker's helper.... hence the name of the company 'kitchen aid'

it kneads bread dough MUCH faster than by hand, and it whips up cakes / cookies very easily.... even several batches of dough at a time (great for christmas cookies )

I love it, and use it probably once a month (I'm not allowed to bake just for the 2 of us , so I have to wait for an 'event' )
love that machine.... but I bought mine before I even met DH.....

I DID register for an 11 cup kitchen aid food processor... it's my new best friend

We cook every meal from scratch (lunch is leftovers from previous dinners usually).... It is great to quickly slice / chop up/puree onions for a sauce, or grate a ton of veggies or cheese in under a minute. A food processor can make pesto in 30 seconds, while the old school way (grate your own parmesan, mince up all the parsley and basil, chop the garlic, and then combine with oil with a a mortar and pestle) would take close to 20 min!

I used to use mine. I made cakes all the time. I haven't used it in a while, but plan to use it again after we move. I will be doing a lot more cooking.

i registered for that and the kitchenaid food processor and we use them ALL the time. it will definitely come in handy around the holidays - i bake a TON during the holidays and it 's so much easier with a stand mixer. i

My brother got me mine for my shower.....it's still unopened in its box Actually, I got two of them at my shower!
