Do your socks disappear in the laundry???

This has been happening for years and it forever urks me. WHERE THE HECK DO THEY GO? I swear the sock monster eats them. Its like every time I do whites and wash all my gym and running socks, at least one goes missing. It is so irritating!

Yes and DH is convinced that the cleaning lady steals his socks! Just his socks , nothing else. He wanted to confront her about it but i wont let him.

HA HA HA!!! Why on Earth would she steal his SOCKS?? Are they made of gold or chocolate or something? That is soooo funny.

but yes - the missing sock ordeal bothers the crap outta me. I feel like maybe since they're small, they just kinda get left behind, that' why they'll show up in a later wash load. But i don't know. It's QUITE the mystery!!!!

I think I am going to start putting them in a lingerie bag!

Oh and one time I did find one in with the sheets but the last few times they have no surfaced yet! ARGH!

check sleeves, pant legs, sheets I have found socks in all of the above

I just gotta add to this - because this cracked me up sooo bad, I just had to tell DH about it. And he was all like 'Well, she probably IS stealing his socks!!' he actually thinks it's a good idea for your husband to 'plant' the new ones to test her. lol. When I asked him WHY on earth she would want a man's socks, he replied 'For her HUSBAND, obviously?' Oh No!
