Does anyone else feel like....

Your reception flew by so fast, you cant remember most of it?

It was only 5 days ago, but DH and i were talking earlier and i said, i really dont remember too much except the toasts and the traditional dances. I feel like it was an hour instead of 4. He said the same thing. I remember dancing 2 dances and the rest of the time i was stuck at tables saying hello. DH and i only got to dance our first dance together and one other dance together and that was it. By the time we finished saying hello to everyone it was already
3 1/2 hours into the reception. I think we should have taken pictures before the ceremony, even though i was dead set against it, but i would have been able to say hello to all the guests at the cocktail hour and would have been able to enjoy the reception more.

I wish I would have written out a journal entry about the wedding day. I kept meaning to do it, and then too much time passed and I realized that I forgot a lot about the day

Actually I thought ours went fast but not too fast. We had a small wedding. Besides, we got to enjoy half of the cocktail hour, so I was able to sit and greet the guests there.

At one point I asked my mom if I had to go and sit at each table and talk to the guests and she told me no, that I didn't have to. That was all I had to hear. I was either up at the bar or on the dance floor having a great time.

But ask me how the food was (besides the few bites of my dinner and what my guests told me) or how my personal decorations looked, I couldn't tell you.

Yes..It went by so fast. I was so happy that I got a video at the last minute and was able to see everything that happened. I had such a good time, as did DH and our guests and it was great watching it all!!

I have to say that I remember everything about reception. It did go fast. I wish we had more time but DH & I danced and had a great time at our reception.

Totally. People keep asking me, if you could do anything differently what would it have been. AN my response is, i would have paid extra money to have the reception extended by 2 hours.
It was the fastest day of my life.

Personally I remember a lot/most of my reception but it did feel like just an hour and not 5 hours! I think right after I got married I didnt really remember much because you are so overwhelmed with everything but after I saw the pics and really thought about it, I dont feel like that anymore.
