Does anyone else not wear e-ring anymore?

Original post by nov04LIbride

I stopped wearing my e-ring lately, just my wedding band. They match, but I just don't like the feel of the e-ring anymore--don't like washing my hands with it on, and it is hard to get leather gloves over it. I feel kind of bad, but I just don't think I am the both rings type of person...

I get tempted sometimes to not wear my e-ring. I love it but it does not go too well with my wedding band. I tried it on my right hand alone but wasn't crazy about it, even though it looks better by itself. I've also thought of just wearing my e-ring but no band.

I also think DH would be annoyed it it just sat in a box, after he picked it out and bought it for me. I'd feel bad about that.

I always wear my e-ring and wedding band... partly because I simply love my e-ring , and mostly because my band is too thin and so 'blah' looking on its own (they aren't a 'set' but match so well together , its hard to wear them alone)

I did tell DH though, that somewhere down the road I do want a really nice, plain, thicker platnium band though to wear on its own, in the event that I dont want to wear my e-ring somewhere. Let's hope he gets on that sometime soon

I think I would feel too nervous not to wear each of my rings. But I know people who only wear their wedding rings.

I just had to order a plain band to wear to work and I will not be wearing my e-ring or my diamond wedding band that matches to work anymore. I lost a stone out of my wedding band at work a few weeks ago so now have no wedding band to wear while mine is being fixed & I have been wearing my e-ring on my right hand but I don't think I will do that at work because I had to take it off to keep it from catching on something.
