Does anyone else's engagement ring rub against their wedding band?

And get scratched? My engagement ring is getting scratched where it touches the wedding band. Any ideas on what I should do? Can a jeweler put a coating over the place where it's getting scratched or something?

I don't know if there's anything the jeweler can use. What about polishing to get the scratches out?

mine doesn't because i wear my ering on my right hand. the band is too thick and has an odd shape so i can not wear it with my wedding ring.

I had thought of wearing my e-ring on my right hand but it looks so nice with my band. For now I've put tiny pieces of scotch tape over the place where the scratches are!

If you go back to your jeweler, tell him/her you want a spacer mde for your set. It is a small peice of metal that clamps onto both your e-ring & your wedding band to keep them from rubbing. It is a really good idea if you have side stones - especially if they are channel set -to prevent them from coming loose.
