.... to look at wedding gowns?? I still stop and look when someone on 08 or 09 posts them and occasionally I'll browse thru Maggie Sottero's site for old times sake. (who made my gown)
I feel like even though I was IN LOVE with my dress.......I want like 10 more..... Just based on the fact that I still have the 'love to play dress up and look pretty' obsession when I was a kid. I was that girl running around the house in my Moms nightgowns and high heels

I look occasionally, and I 'visit' my dress every once in a while when I go see my dad. It is still hanging in the closet in my old apartment.

Yea. Jessaroo's post reminded me of it when I clicked on Carolines link and was looking at all the pretty gowns people were reselling.
And then I thought, am I the only married idiot that still admires wedding gowns??

Yes occasionally especially with our Day After shoot this coming weeknd! But with Yesi's sash I love my dress again. Whats funny is when I look at gowns, the ones I love are still lace similar to mine. I just hated the way mine FIT because they duped me..jerks.
as far as LIW brides my FAVE dress is CameraKrazies...just a GORGEOUS gown.

Nah. not strange at all. My sister's wedding dress is also hanging in my closet, 14 years after her wedding. My niece makes her communion next year and I think that I will have her dress made from my sis's wedding dress. It's a nice silk shantung fabric and in very good condition. My niece's choice though, if she rather me buy one then I'll do that.

Oh wow, thats a beautiful idea though!! Now I hope I have a daughter or a niece one day!! (Im calling my sister right now to tell her to hurry up) LOL

And you know what Jenn, I was always attracted and very drawn to dresses with lace too!! I didnt realize it until my Mom and SIL pointed out that every dress I wanted to try on has some type of lace to it!
And they Duped you, ah, what did they do?? The way they altered it??? It looked beautiful.

LOL yea me too. Even now Im like OOO but the dress usually has lace or a ruffle or somethign very feminine about it as a detail.
My dress? You never read my looooooon review?
Long story short, they sold me the dress as a strapless gown but when I got it it turned out it was NOT a strapless gown. Some @ss in the store cut off the straps and since the sampel was like a 10 and my dress was a 4, they did the old clips in back to make it fit so I didnt really see how the dress hung.
The dress came with spaghetti straps and the issue with that is the dress had NO boning; it was meant to kinda drape from the straps and hang from them. With the straps gone it bunched funny.
SOOOO they had to put in pseudo boning and it never worked right. I always felt it bagged a little in odd places unlike the maggie dresses I LOVE that lace and are bonedso your waist looks TEENY.
in the end I paid ALOT more for alterations i shouldnt have paid for because it was THEIR error but RK bridal s*cked for me at custoemr services. GREAT prices. @SSHOLE management. Dont even get me started on how they ordered the wrong derss for me originally and it was STAINED and they wanted to charge me extra $$ to reorder it...
In the end it was ok but didnt hang right. I am anal because my mom sews so I tend to be picky about fabric and fit. It never fit right-kept spinning on me so in some pics I have 3 boobs and the dress FELL at one point during the day.
Pete told me the top gapped so bad where they did a lousy job with the cups that he could see my boobs anytime he looked down if I was next to him

Every now & then I get the urge to look at dresses and bridal magazines. I have a friend that is getting married and when she sent me the link for her dress & her girls dresses I browsed the website.

OMG Jenn!! What a story!!! Grrrrrrrrrr to RK !!!! Well, I never would have known b/c in the pics your dress looks amazing!
