OK I know this is a newlywed board and supposed to be all lovey....but DH is on my SH!TLIST TODAY and i'd love some confirmation that men are just stupid and stubborn!!!!!!!!!!!! DH's good friend really p!ssed me off yesterday and DH, OF COURSE, defended him..........
I hope the two of them can be VERY HAPPY TOGETHER!!!!
but really...why oh why do guys just not GET IT!??!?!?!??!!??!

He's making me crazy....even when his friend is a total @SSHOLE.........he still feels the need to defend!!!! I don't care, i'm not asking him to tell the guy off or anything, but CMON! At least tell me i'm right and you understand.....

LOL I am laughing bc sometimes when DH pisses me off i just imagine the things i could do to him not even to hurt him but like you said just bc it would feel good. I think he caught on cuz now he tells me to stop fantasizing and laughs at me which pi$$es me off even more.
PS - I HATE when i am moody and DH says calmly 'oh God you're PMS'ing arent you'!!! Especially when I really am i just want to bite his head off

I'm going crazy and of course he's laying low and not calling or texting which is infuriating me even more....

I think most of us have been there before Dh use to do that to me with his friend. His ex room mate had a drinking problem and used to come home drunk and get very nasty with me. I let both of them have it I still sometimes remind him of that when the guy's name comes up in conversation. Honestly I just don't think men get it

does he do it in front of the friend or defend him when youre alone.
Its funny bc Dh got into an argument with a friends bf this past weekend, i kept telling him to shut up bc alot of ppl were around. I didnt even hear him when he said it but my moh told me that when he walked off he said 'you never take my side denise' i was surprised to hear him say that. I didnt defend the other person though i just told DH to shut up bc i wanted the arguement to end, didnt care who was right or wrong, and the other guy is not my bf for me to yell at.

Hey Denise It's just this particular guy...If I didn't know better I would swear it's his boyfriend. He didn't do anything directly to me...just started up a whole load of drama that was unnecessary. My DH was politically involved and due to all of the Drama and Trouble this friend caused (he was the town administrator at the time), my DH was literally forced to take a step down and a 'Leave of Absence' just to get away from the heat.
He's a major @SSHOLE but there's always that 'GUY BONDING' thing. It makes me sick.
Anyway, he started up drama yesterday and got my DH involved and it does put me in an uncomfortable position around town with certain individuals. I explained to DH (and yes maybe I explained a little TOO loudly haha) but it really made me upset! Rather than acknowledging how I felt, DH told me 'it didn't really concern me' and forbid me from saying anything to this guy. I am ok with not saying anything, I do agree that it would be disrespectful to DH for me to say something, but i'm still P!SSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if he doesn't want you to say anything then tell him he needs to say something. Its his friend so im sure he can do it in a nice way but tell your Dh you'd at least appreciate it if he said something on your behalf

well everytime your dh does this, tell him no sex for 1 week or make it 2 weeks and see if he stops hahaha

In all honesty, as much as I DONT want to stick up for DH right now, he has pushed this person away ALOT. I try to keep it in perspective and remember that if he asked me to drop one of my friends, I would be resentful. However, this person has no respect for our relationship at all from day one. He's just a joke and very much hated in our community. He was removed from his job at town hall due to his behavior....he's just a jerk0ff and I HATE HATE HATE HATE when DH's name gets associated with him. DH is a real classy and amazing man and this friend really brings him down.
Right now I just feel like fighting this small battle will cause a war between me and DH and I feel like just giving in and dropping it. Is that bad????
