Does anyone go to the chiropractor?

If so - just curious if there's a back problem that you go for and does it work?

Apparently the way I was sleeping a few years back had pinched something in my back. It was really painful, I couldn't even bend over or anything. I went to a chiropractor and he 'adjusted' my back which felt fantastic and then he did a treatment thing where he put this massager thing on my back and then an ice pack on top of it. He told me to come back once a week til it felt better and to continue using the packs at home. I did and went back 2 more times and it felt much better. He also told me how to avoid having it happen again. So far so good!

I do and it is the best thing i ever did. I still go once every 2 months. I was sleeping in a bad way too. They use the electrosis machine on it and give me a very hard massage but never any back pain any more. Do it you wont regret it!!!

i've been going for 6 or 7 years now (3 car accidents will do that lol) and feel it has totally helped with the stiffness and pain. i don't know how permanent it is ( i think physical therapy is more permanent) but it works.

maybe try and look into accupuncture or massage therapy as well :D

i am obsessed with the chiropractor. i wish i could put him in my pocket and keep him with me all the time.

I think I'm going to try one although it scares me. I try to crack my back but it just seem to get the bad spots. Any recommendations on a chiropractor? I'm in western Nassau.

My chiropractor has a masseuse in his office so I get a 25 minute massage each time I go there. So I obviously go weekly. And my insurance pays for it.

i go to a 'holistic' chiropractor in queens. i was convinced she had to be doing voodoo because it was so gentle... but it worked. alignment should NOT be overrated... too bad you have to keep going back. i dont have that kind of time...
