does anyone know anything about

ipods? and what is good..my dh wants one for xmas and i dont know what to get..isnt there other things that go with it so you can take it in your car or something? thanks..(as you can tell i have so much more xmas shopping to do )

i pods are great! Dh bought me one for Valentine's day. They allow you store lots of music in one location and then use it when ever you want. The music is often downloaded from the computer to the i pod. The cost of the i pod will depend on how much music you want it to hold. I think most people get the 20 G (twenty gigabites of space) which holds a few thousand songs. Also, if you want to him to be able to play it in the car, go to Best Buy or Circuit City and pick up am FM transmitter/charger for the i pod. That way he will be able to play the music on his i pod through the radio. The charger helps the battery to keep power so that he can play his i pod for as long as he likes. I think the FM transmitter /charger runs between $79.99-$89.99.

Depending on the type of i pod, they run from 199.99 (nano) -299.99 and up.

i pod shuffles are much less expensive ($99) and hold up to 120 songs.

The ipod nano is the latest one out, its the smallest one but holds fewer songs than the larger models. My sisters got my dad one recently and he loves it. The Apple store in Roosevelt Field gives you $20 off if you show them a student ID.

Dh wants one too, I considered getting it for him for xmas but I know he'll never actually use it.
