Does anyone know if there's a stomach virus going around?

Yep. It's been going around all winter and it's supposed to be a very bad strain. If you had it though I think you would've been sick already, it kind of shows up with no warning from what I'm hearing.

Hope it's just gas!!

i feel the same exact way, and it got worse last night, lets put it this way i don't know how i'm going to make it through a 4 hour class

I don't know if DH and I had food poinsing or the stomach virus last week but it hit us fast and all of a sudden.

DH thinks it was a stomach virus considering we ate two totally different foods when we went out.

I had something like that last week- it lasted from tuesday- thursday and this may be tmi- but i was more gasy that I have ever been in my life- it was awful but then went away the same way it came.

I got it two weeks ago - on vday of all days - when we were away with our friends and their son. i started out just feeling icky, and then i was in the bathroom a lot (and it was SUDDEN - like I went to pee and woops! I had to do something else). Then, at 3am, I puked. No nauseousness though - just got that 'saliva is building up in my mouth, I think I'm going to puke' feeling - and I did. Thank god I had a bucket next to the bed! I felt crappy all sunday and then monday about midday I was back to myself.

YUP!!!

i had it from monday-friday of last week... i couldnt eat anything more than a roll.... i was throwing up EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I had it a few weeks ago. My brother had it the same time and my two cousins! We hadn't even been in contact with each other, we all just had a stomach bug at the same time!

I had it from Thursday until Sunday It was BAD

yes there is something going around, my mom, sister, mil and a few other people i know have had it. It lasted anywhere from 2-3 days

I had it from Tues-Thurs of last week...anything i ate made me EXTREMELY naseous! I was scared i was pregnant. I didnt throw up, but it made me burp a lot and i felt awful!

Seems like it's going around. It will be gone in a few days!

yes! I'm burping like a trucker...a GIANT trucker. And I've been nauseous all day. I hope it goes away soon

My mom has had it BAD for the past few days, I almost took her to the ER. She couldn't even eat for 2 days. Then her fingers even got swollen and turned purple-ish. I read up about it and said happens with dehydration, so i got scared. I went and bought her pedialyte and made her eat some toast and banana's. She couldn't even get up and really walk at al, it was horrible.

But if anything drink pedialyte and they say to eat toast, apples, banana's, rice.

hmmm maybe you dont have it then, not sure. I just know my mom wasnt hungry and wasn't able to eat either. Although not 100% sure what she was like in the beginning.

Thak you very much, yeah the swelling on her fingers finally went down today and she finally ate a little something besides toast, banana or apples. Hopefully you are not getting it
