I am not sure what time they open, but I am sure they close at 4pm

Not entirely sure, but they probably close at 4... 5 the latest.

Fill out your paper work befroe you go (you can download the form on line) and the whole process takes less than 5 minutes!!

I went to the Melville office last year on my lunch hour.

This may seem like a stupid question, but what's the website for them?

I just did a whole seach for it and got the info. Thanks everyone for your help and for telling me about the form.

If anyone else needs to know the office hours it's from 9-4.

Well it all depends on the office...In the city they usually open at 8.. (I work for SSA)..and by the way if you live in Brooklyn, there is a new central office in Metro Tech that everyone who lives in Brooklyn, NY has to go to that office instead of the local office to do a change on your social security card...

I went first thing in the morning so I didn't have to wait on a long line.
