Does anyone's DH not cook?

Mine has cooked less than 10 times since we've been married. He can make pasta, pasta, mac and cheese, hamburgers, pasta..and he did make a chopped meat casserole the other night. He's not a natural cook, but neither am I. It's just that I'm home earlier to cook dinner, so I've learned more than he has.

ETA: He always cleans up after I cook, which I am thankful for. I clean after he cooks.

No, you are certainly not alone! My DH can only defrost bagels! It isn't really his fault though because I love to cook so I don't mind. He is also really messy inthe kitchen so sometimes it is just easier if I do it. He makes a mean scrambled eggs but insist he can't clean the pan out since I will just want to rewash it anyway! Yes, I a little anal about my kitchen

Mine doesn't and it drives me crazy. After an hour's commute I have to start dinner when I get home. He can't even start the salad????

One Sunday morning, he asked me to show him how to make scrambled eggs. He broke 1, and that was it. He said, 'you do a better job than I do', and he went back to reading the NYT!!!

I have to say his mother spoiled him. Maybe I should send him back for retraining!!!!
