does talking about...

sex before you do it ever make it less exciting?

by this i mean, if you know you're gonna get some lovin, or if you plan a time for it, or if one of you brings it up verbally to pursue it, does that make it less enjoyable bc the spontaneity is gone?

are you and DH most often planners or spontaneous?

....yes, im bored.

YES - and i tell Dave this ALL THE TIME....

if you talk about it - it takes the spontanaiety (sp?)out of it!!!!!

i like to talk during sex---not before it.

i'd rather he just grab me and toss me on the bed instead of discussing the impending sex we're gonna have.

we're animals like that.

That's what I'm talkin' bout!!

Seriously Jess, I know what you mean. It's always announced by DH. 'wanna hump?' and various other come-ons. Usually comical ones or gross ones. I swear I am married to a teenager.

Re: does talking about...

seriously, DH alwaays does this and im like AHHH! noooo. let it be and just happen and he says, well if i didn't say anything we'd just sit down here (in the tv room) all night and it wouldn't happen. lol.

i seriously think i can feel a difference in how much i enjoy sex based on this. though that prob sounds ridiculous.

i just like it when all things converge at just the right moment, and youre just feelin it and it happens. none of this, 'can we go up stairs? you know what i mean. wink wink.'

seriously, cutie, you're not fooling me. even when you try to be sly!

We really don't talk about to get it started. It kind of just happens, although every now and then I will say something to get it started

i COMPLETELY agree - there's definitely a 'more excited' feeling when it just happens...

thats freakkin hysterical.

i said something like 'ahhh, its ruined.' (half joking bc we're doing too much talk about it tonite) and he goes 'why do you say that all the time!? im perfectly fine with telling you i'm gonna bone you.' LOL (this is DH's idea of funny).

hows that for TMI on the net.

I coulda shared some of the ridiculous things DH says to 'entice' me - and he knows it doesn't but he thinks he's funny - but I will spare you. It's also VERY close to what you just described!

I never get DH with his jokes- if he's the only one who thinks it's funny, where's the fun in that?

Jess (OP Jess ) I've had that same conversation you've had with him a million times. It amazes me that he doesn't get it!! There's always a prior 'announcement' to sex! It's like he doesn't remember our earlier sex life or something!

Well it's alright...as long as we get some we're happy. I'm soooo glad I'm not alone here!

speaking as someone with a child, where sex is a rarity.. (not because we don't want it.. but because we live in a tiny 2 bedroom apt and he's getting a little *older*) we have to be discreet...

some nights, I'll be working on soemthing and DH will whisper in my ear 'can we have sex tonight?'

I don't know.... it kinda turns me on b/c it's so secretive and quiet...

I can definitely see that because that is what it was like when DH and I weren't married and living with our parents. Then it was a whole process like 'Okay my mom has a nail appointment at 2PM but my dad doesn't get home until 2:17PM so I will meet you back here at 1400 hours and don't wear panties'

We did that too when we were living with his parents. The worst was when the cat, yes THE CAT (it hated me), took MY panties out of his laundry pile and brought them downstairs.

His DAD found them and said 'Jenn, look what the cat dragged in' (he thought that was HYSTERICAL btw) and my MIL says 'Hmmm i guess we know what happens when we leave heh heh, nudge nudge'

My house we had the 'one foot on the floor' rule so it was alot of 'YES my dad is coaching little league and I have 20 minutes before class. Lets GO!'
