that non-newlyweds are posting on our boards.......I look at the other boards as much as I look here and post my responses in the appropriate board.....

It used to be a big thing here. I think there are just new people who don't know or don't think we go over to that board to answer thier questions.

In fairness, there isnt much of anything going on this board anyway so I dont mind the questions.

It bothers me that there there isnt much non wedding related stuff discussed here..but thats not the brides fault.

i don't mind that non-newlyweds post over here, but it bothers me slightly that this boards is becoming BHB - Part 2. i don't think a lot of the new B2B's realize that we post on BHB when we can offer advice. also - there is NO need for them to post the same exact question on BHB, NW and NWR.

I'm in agreement...I wonder if Ron & Liz can do anything about it....Can they delete them from our boeard if they aren't relevant?

I think when people post questions on the BHB board, they assume other bride to be's are reading it. Maybe there should be an NHB board - Newlyweds Helping Brides...

I agree with kel2004, I think the brides think only future brides are on BHB, so they come to us because weve been there, done that. personally dont mind AT ALL if they come here, this newlywed boardis BORING and dead..when they ask a question..it gives me something to respond too.

This won't really help. If NW's are going to answer questions, they'll go to the BHB board. To further divide the forums will just leave other parts ignored.

For me, I don't like the 'Who was your photographer?' type questions. But if someone has a specific question about Patken, then by all means ask away.

I think the segregation of the boards is what sort of killed it in here..even before all the drama. When there was just NWR, Brides and NW...all the cooking, crafts, vacation, book club, etc.. discussions happened in here. It seemed to make for a more cohesive group. Now that there are more boards..it easier to find somethign when you are looking..but harder to create the community that was once here.

I agree with you Sonic steff...it does make it harder nowadays with all these boards. I wish there was a way we could get more action on here.

I have thought of this many times but didn't want to say anything. I agree, sometimes there are questions that need to be posted here for us to answer, but then you get the people who are not newlyweds yet and they are answering for us.

I know before I got married, I only came over here once to ask a question of the Newlyweds. I felt bad if I came over here and didn't belong.

Stef is right, our board is dead....how can we liven it up in here?????

Ok.. I realize this was probably brought about from the question I posted on here. I am pretty new and didn't realize that people would get annoyed at bride's to be posting questions. I have been stressing about when FH and I should start looking for an apt. Why would I ask bride's to be when they probably won't know, since they probably haven't reached that point yet? I am a little disappointed and puzzled at the reactions I got from my original post.

Rosanne..I dont think the comments were directed at any one person. Its just that this board has gotten really slow lately and the brides questions just stand out more. I dont think anyone is annoyed with you or any particular question. I think its more about us being disappointed that us newlyweds arent as chatty as we used to be.
