Does your DH tell...

his entire family and close friends everything about your relationship?
I feel like we have no privacy. DH can talk to his mom, brother or friend on the phone for hours. Right now he is talking to his brother on how much my salary is, my credit score, income to debt ratio and how we got denied for a home improvement loan. What I make is none of their business! So mad at DH! He doesn't talk to me about things but he'll tell everyone else our problems.

Luckily for me, DH doesn't talk about that sort of stuff with his parents. He only talks to them about Baseball and WOW lol

I would be super pissed though. As open as I am with everyone, my income and my problems getting a loan and stuff like that is NONE of their business.

I would mention something to him, b/c that's just going a little too far. They don't need to know all of your personal stuff like that.

Wow, that's messed up! Tell him he needs to keep it to himself. You are right, its none of their business.

DH barely talks about our relationship to anyone. lol

Totally the opposite in my house. Im the big mouth I tell my mom everything! Dh is very private. Sorry your upset.

DH is very close to his mother and talks to her for hours EVERY day but i wouldnt say he tells her EVERYTHING about us. he's pretty good at checking with me first.

I'm sorry you are upset. I would be too. some things should be kept between the two of you. trying talking to him and explaining how you feel (if you havnt done so already). Good Luck

yeah, that would frustrate me too. Dh doesn't really tell everybody our business. Every once in a while he tells his mom or buddies something tho. It's weird - makes me wonder what ELSE he tells them

dh is also very close to his family and tells them alot. DH is just extremely open period. He gets annoyed with me bc doesnt understand why im closed off and im not like that lol.

oh wow! No, DH is very private-I guess I am more of the big mouth. I tell my mom things about DH, but he doesn't mind at all. I guess I would not care if he tells his fam how much I earn or my credit score, but I guess I would get annoyed if he would tell his fam everything that I do. If it really bothers you than you should let him know. I am sure he will understand.

I just told DH how I felt when he got off the phone. He said he was sorry but I know he'll do it again without even realizing it because that's just how he is. He tells everyone everything. He has to learn to think for the two of us. I don't mind his brother knowing because he really doesn't talk much. But if my SIL or MIL finds out then the whole world will know.

maybe it will take time, little by little, if you catch him doing it again, just remind him. I am sure he will learn.

DH doesn't tell everything but he def. spills the beans sometimes whereas I'd like it to be more private. Sometimes though I do the same with my family.

I think that is the best thing though, since he is so used to being open about everything, he has to learn that you are apart of his life now and he can't go spreading the news to everyone if you don't want him to!

No he doesn't but his family asks questions like that like it's their business. They think because we're all family we should all know.

My DH is extremely close with his parents (they talk almost every day), so they pretty much always know everything that's going on with us. Obviously the *very* private things between us are kept between us, but most things are shared.

I'm the complete opposite... I love my parents, but I'm just not AS close with them as DH is to his. We don't have that 'friend' level going on like they do. I only talk to them about once a week, and I rarely give them a lot of details about what's going on. Obviously, if we were in the process of buying a house, I would keep them updated, but as far as telling them salaries and credit scores and stuff like that... I just don't.

We are the opposite. I blabber to my mom about a lot (not everything), and DH never tells anyone. He isn't that close to his family as I am to mine so that might have something to do with it. He is one of those people you can tell a secret to and he will never tell anyone.
