Not a stink.

I mean, a certain air freshener scent that you use, or a glade plug in. ??

I want a scent for my house. I have a bath and body works plug in in the 'fig whatever' scent, but it's WAY overpowering. I burn candles sometimes too, but the scent doesn't last.

UPDATE: My house does not stink and I'm not trying to cover up the smell of an unclean house. Most of the time my house smells like clorox clean up or the kitchen cleaner

But wanted something that smelled pretty all of the time.

I don't really use candles or specific scents. But ever since we got the puppy in the house, now every time I clean up and vacuum, I always spray the carpets and furniture with Glade Fabric & Air pet odor eliminator. I LOVE the smell. It's not really a distinct scent, it just makes everything smell so fresh and clean. I love it.

ETA - sometimes we'll light candles though (like in the bathroom and such) but only if we're home. I don't usually like to have specific scents tho - just freshness, kwim?

I forgot to add that I have a Yankee Candle scent 'Vanilla cupcake' in the living room/kitchen area. So whenever I burn a candle, I burn that and it smells yummyyyyyy

We've been burning these in the apt. DH loves cupcakes and the smell of them. We also use a plug-in in the living room with cupcake scent but now I'm afraid because of what you ladies said about them causing fires..........

I use a plug in, but I only leave it in when we are home- during the day. I unplug it otherwise.

We used to have B&BW's Sweat Pea plugins all over but DH thought it was too sweet. So usually I have the windows open (even in the winter) so fresh air is always flowing thru our apt.

Maybee I'll try the difuser things.

I have the glade scented oil fan in my bathroom and kitchen/living room. I like the ocean scent or the tropical flower scent.

Yes. I think everyones does. Mine is vanilla b/c of my plugings and spray. I love the smell of some people I know houses and hate some. This is a funny question b/c my sister and I always talk about people and their house smell!

Yes! I STILL remember how my friends mom's house smelled so good from this cranberry candle she had. Her house always smelled like that. I want that! It was like a cheapy candle too and it just sat there, she didnt burn it.
