I just wanted to say that I noticed you posted on the 08 board..... hehe.....and the reception wasn't entirely nice.

watch -- around like august---september---you'll probably see a brawl ensue when like half the brides are married and half the brides aren't---and a similiar post is made by someone else again! we had drama on this board and 07 around that time last year......since the newlyweds were like 'um--wow we really made a big deal about nothing' and the brides said 'omg we have a right to be a little crazy---so stop judging us!'



when you get brides their eyes at you---you are officially a newlywed!!!!!!!!

LMAO I remember that -snickers- yea once you have 'been there and done that' you see it differentlt. The 08 girls roll their eyes at us all the time but wait till they are on the this side of the fence..it changes.

i cant follow what went on....abut something not being entirely nice but i surely can say its a different point of view on this side !

i just read it and yea i know wht u are talking about.

its so hard to give advice now

like before i would just vent with fellow brides but now everytime i say anything on here or IRL i feel like it is taken in a way that says 'been there done that, dont worry about it - it doesnt matter'

meanwhile i would try to get people stop stressing a few months ago and people understood!

it started when a psycho 07er read wrongly into a statement another 07er made on the NW board made about not wanting to go to weddings as much anymore....cause of having a lil post wedding depression and such.

then the 07er brought the topic to 07 board---and basically was saying how she wished she hadn't invited the person to her wedding if she knew they wouldn't have appreciated the invite and such.

it turned into BIG drama cause the NWs went back to 07 to say 'actually you guys jumping on the bandwagon don't know the whole story---and things are different when you've HAD your wedding' it started to turn a little ugly -- hence the brides vs. newlyweds struggle ensued!!!

seriously its so funny cause i remember telling girls in that drama ridden post 'you seriously are going to LAUGH at the way you were before---cause after you say 'damn it wasn't that big a deal'

i was kind of an anti-bride to begin with--didn't go nuts over too much stuff....but sometimes when you see the things that people go crazy with--you are like.... 'wow i hope i wasn't so nutso over things!'

oh my, i remember that!!!! d-r-a-m-a!!

i love the LIW story, but I also love my 'welcome to the dark side'

Don't wanna totally go into to it, but I was the Newlywed, & I posted in response to a Quote or something, how I have alot of upcoming weddings, & How I am not looking forward to it.
I said just that, but it was b/c I was feeling Down about missing my Wedding.

Total Drama that broke up my DH & her FH's friendship of almost 10 years.
