Oh yeah try like every morning! DH gets up much earlier than me and im not a morning person to say the least! He says that all i do is grunt at him cause i just want to go back to sleep. If he starts trying to carry on a full conversation, i can get nasty sometimes. Dont worry about it, im sure he understands!

This is normally me. I am NOT a morning person at all. Somehow this morning I woke up in a GREAT mood. It was probably that 'too dayum sweet coffee' I drank.

DH is not a morning person and can be a real jerk sometimes! Sometimes he's not even fully awake and starts talking, it won't make sense and sometimes is really rude! Then i'll say '*** did you say' and then he'll wake up and act as if he didn't know what he said.

You wake up grouchy, DH is in a nice sweet mood and your a grouch and then as the morning goes on you start to feel guilty?? I just emailed him I was sorry....I dont do this often but this morning I was just so tired....

DH just complained to me this morning about what a mean person i am when i wake up He wakes up in such a good mood and i am not a morning person!

I total know what you mean, i feel guilty as well... i have to try my best to be a little happier when i wake up!

I can be like that sometimes but this morning it was the opposite. DH works the late shift so he sleeps in late. I walk our dog in the morning before I leave, I ran out of time this morning and told him while he was sleeping he had to do it. AND he was mean Grouch

It is just known not to talk to me when I first wake up. I am not happy or fully with it. And if I fall asleep on the couch he doesn't even bother trying to wake me anymore because I just get nasty.

DH is very grouchy in the morning, always has been and always will be. Ive learned to just ignore him in the morning. If he was really grouchy he will do the same thing you did, he will call to apologize. SO dont feel bad, I dont take things to heart when he is like that in the morning, and I am sure your DH probably thinks the same thing. That you just woke up in a bad mood and has nothing to do with him.

Umm...thats me every morning. We have opposite schedules. He works 9AM-5AM, I work 9pm to 5 AM. Granted I mostly work weekends but my schedule is so screwed up, I sleep late even on the days I dont work. So sometimes he tries to have full conversations with me at 8AM while hes getting ready or he'll get up late from pressing snooze all morning and expects me to iron his clothes when I only just fell asleep at 4 AM!
I curse him out and slam things around the room. He's used to it now.

The guilt eventually subsides...

I can totally relate!

On Tuesday's DH has off from work and he'll let me sleep until 7AM, that's when things can get hairy.

he'll start singing 'TIME TO GET UP JANE, IT'S TIME TO GET UP!!!'

I'll tell him to 'Stop talking, and go away'

Then he'll start to poke & tickle me and I get so angry. ..then he walks out of the room saying 'AND YOUUUR UP!'



It's funny now b/c I'm awake. But I don't think it's quite so funny 30 seconds out of a deep sleep.
