Dress Cleaning and Preservation? Reposted from 09 Board.

Any suggestions of where to bring my dress for cleaning and to preserve it. I know its crazy to preserve it, but I have to. I love it to much to do anything else with it.

I want to bring it somewhere trust worthy, I don't care if its a little more $$$.

I had my dress cleaned and preserved at Maurice's Cleaners in Manhasset. I think I paid about $500-$600.

hmmmm I don't know what I want to do, I didn't think it would cost hundreds of dollars..... I definitely need to get my dress cleaned, I just don't know what to do with it after that! It's actually still hanging in my dining room I just can't seem to put it away!

mine is still hanging in my room and it's been almost a year! i hope they can get the stains out of my the bottom of my dress at this point. i just want to put it on one more time and i haven't had the chance in the last 10 months!

i was figuring $150-200 to clean it.

Sandy's Cleaners in Wantagh. You see the dress after it's cleaned and before it's packed up.

Having mine cleaned and preserved by Renate's Bridal in Lindenhurst - the same place I purchased. It cost 229 + tax.

What do they put it in once its preserved? In a box? How do you know your dress is actually in there?

mine came in a box and the entire front was a window that you could see your dress in.

you can also add things such as your veil to it as well...wish i knew that before i did mine!!
