Good morning girls.....so I bought this dress to wear to two weddings that we have to attend this summer. DH says that it looks nice on me but that it looks like a 'fancy prom dress' lol. I am the WORST decision maker so I desperately need your fashion advice!!! Should I keep it or return it??
TIA!!!
The picture is tiny when I cut and paste it so here's the link.....
Def. NOT a prom dress look. I think its very pretty.

Re: Dress Opinion
I actually really like it. I love the color, but I don't know how much I love the material. Then again it may look different in person. I like it though. :) I think it's nice for a wedding.

Re: Dress Opinion
as long as they are evening weddings, I think the dress will be great for a wedding.

Thanks for your input! The material is satin but has very limited stetch (it's only 5% spandex). It's also completely lined. I tried on a similar dress from Nicole Miller that had much more stretch and wasn't lined and it looked totally different on me (much more slu**y, lol).

I love it. I have something very simiar in black. If you are curvy it does wonders for your shape. Go for it.

I'm the quintessential bargain hunter I refuse to pay retail price for designer stuff.

Re: Dress Opinion
I usually wear long evening gowns to weddings, a short dress is not 'promish' looking. Plus the one you want is a great color and very elegant.

Re: Dress Opinion
I think it's beautiful!
And if my daughter wanted to wear this as her prom dress I'd smack her silly.
