Re: DRESS PANTS

Barb- I think you look great. You dont look old at all. Its conservative and thats what you need for conferences. I usually get all my work clothes from Macys. But then again I'm old!

Re: DRESS PANTS

i have stuff to return at filenes and macys.. the smart thing to do is actually return and buy clothes.

what i am going to end up doing is not returning the merchandise.. im so bad. i could seriously open up a store with clothes that still have tags on them

Re: DRESS PANTS

Express

Meanwhile, you look good, but those pants pull more than they should. I feel like investing in a 2-3 pairs of realllly good pants is a must. Then you can buy a few cheapies to fill in the pant wardrobe. Did you get the ones from Bloomies? Is The Limited still around? They had decent stuff when I was looking 523658 years ago. Also, Ann Taylor has really nice pants.

Re: DRESS PANTS

i get all mine from h&m... i usually find that getting a size bigger helps with the weird sizings there! i've had pants, shirts, and blazers from there for years and haven't had any problems!

Re: DRESS PANTS

i hate dress pants bc i can never find a 'good fit' but the ones i will wear that are semi comfy and cute are from charlotte russe and express. Maybe even check out Mandee? I knew a chick who got great business casual outfits from Joyce Leslie. I never thought to check out bloomies though! Im def gonna check that out!

Re: DRESS PANTS

I have 2 awesome pairs of black work pants from Club Monaco....they're pricey but I got both on sale for like 79. I don't think many people go in there with the intention of buying work stuff so it usually ends up on sale. I've had them for like 2-3 years and they still look brand spanking new.

Otherwise, The Limited is okay for work pants. I have long legs so a lot of brands don't work. There is one fit from Express that I like and I appreciate being able to machine wash them. H&M has great work skirts.

Hmmm....the theory outlet at Woodbury has good prices when they're outlet stuff is on sale. They are the ULTIMATE!

Ann Taylor. I have a few pair of nice pants and a black skirt from there that I invested in awhile ago, and they are by far the most flattering!
