Drive or fly??
DH and I have been ON THE GO lately between work travel and our annual June wedding tour!I'm considering treating us (surprising him) to a flight to Nantucket as opposed to driving 5 hours and taking an hour and a half ferry ride over. I'm dreading the drive home on Sunday after being in a wedding on saturday night.
Thing is, flights are now 300 a piece because it is so last minute. The ferry is only 40 dollars pp each way...so it is a MUCH cheaper option.
I love roadtrips but we will have to leave at 4:30am on thursday morning as opposed to noon if we fly.

THANKS! I suppose I was not really going to pull out my cc and spring for the tickets...I just needed someone to tell me not to do it!
I'm just feeling hungover and exhausted from the travel/wedding this weekend. I'll rest up by then and pack the car with treats and good music!

I know exactly what you mean! Sometimes you need to be talked down from the ledge, I know I do it a lot!

I say you take the money you were going to surprise him with the plane ride.. and maybe do some kind of couples massage or something? :)

Think of all the pairs of shoes and dresses you could get for that $300!

I'm in the minority, but if you can afford it do it! I'd rather spend than money than be stuck in horrible traffic.
