Can I be totally honest? I don't think most people are there for you personally to critique you. I think everyone looks at this as a really cheap day out for food, drinking, and dancing - and that's what they're looking forward to - not 'how will Lauren look in the dress.' So there really isn't any pressure. I hope that doesn't sound mean!
With that being said, I think you are absolutely insane for worrying about how you'll look since you'll look great!
I disagree slightly. I think that at any wedding, not just an event like this, people DO look at the bride and bridal party and critique them. Their hair, their makeup, their dress, their body...I've seen it done at every single wedding I've ever been a guest at. There is always some chitter chatter about 'oh did you SEE her hair' or 'did you SEE the bride's ________'. Not every single person at a wedding, or especially at an event like this is nice or polite or even mature. Some people are judgmental and nasty and I know that I am definitely nervous about how I'm going to look and what people will say. That's just me.
On a different note, Lauren I can see a little bit how others may think you are being overly critical of yourself, and that it seems like you're going overboard. I personally understand you, but not everyone else can/does I suppose. Ang, I'm not even referencing you here just to make that clear. The cartoon Jenny posted really said it best. I can truly relate to that. Hugs to you Lauren.
When all is said and done ladies, TWOTY 10 is going to be a blast for all involved!! That should be the main thing for everyone...WHAT A GOOD TIME WE'RE GONNA HAVE!!! Dance the day away baby!!!!
Edited for spelling

I hope i didnt come off as sounding like it hink people are there to see me becuase I know thats not the case...i do also know that this is a shwocase of vendors so I feel pressure to look good for the vendor as well as the site. Im absolutely positive that girls arent there to see what we will look like but I will speak for myself in saying that I want to look nice as I do anytime i enter public lol.
No no Lauren, not at all! I was just trying to say that this isn't like a typical wedding where everyone is there specifically to see a marriage. I didn't want to sound mean, or like I was insulting you at all.
