DSLR question

So, yes or no:

On a dslr camera like the canon rebel xsi, you can do that thing to pictures that makes the background burry/subject clear and vice versa?

Re: DSLR question

Yes, that is correct! I think that is just the regular focus feature. If you have something closer to you, the camera will automatically try to focus on that first.

I have a friend who works for Nikon, and she sent me the actual notes from a course that she took. If you want I can email it to you, it basically the whole course layout. I haven't been able to read the whole thing yet, but maybe it would help you?

Yes, I told you this. I know this b/c Jenna told me. It all depends on the lens. I use the 55-200 mm to zoom in and get the 'blur'.

I CAN'T WAIT to see 8364898408407 pictures of your cats in a few days.

Re: DSLR question

Yes it depends on the lens for how much blur you get. The lower the f-stop, the more blur. (The f stop is the 2nd number in the lens decription 24-70 f2.4
