Ducks in a Row...

Blah...

I am putting so much pressure on myself to find a new job so that we can save more money, so that we can get a house, so that we can have a baby.... Its so stressful. More stressful than any of the wedding ****.

My DH had things rough when he was younger and so he needs things to really be in there place before we have a kid... Its just all seems so frustrating.

Anyone else trying to get their crap together???

don't try to stress yourself out about it too much. The more you think about it the more your going to worry yourself into a whole.You can't change anything by worrying so try to take it one day at a time.
When the time comes, i know its cliche, but everything will fall into place

your DH and my DH sound very similar...and we were trying to figure everything out perfectly but all it did was cause stress.
Finally i sat down with DH and we went over financial situations, my age etc and we decided there will not ever be a perfect time for us to start a family. so we gave up on buying a house right now, and decided its ok to have a child before owing a house. who knows when either of those things will happen...but right now we are at least not stressing over anything and just enjoying married life.

Yep its soooooooo frustrating!!!! We were toying with an idea of a house as well...and already decided we would start TTC after a trip we were taking in April. When it came down to it...since our child will have to be in daycare we can in no way afford both a house and a child at the same time. So we are focusing on a baby now...and then how we will save for a house. We don't have a very big apartment so it gets very irritating that we can't move right now.

We keep debating whether we want to move into a bigger apartment for more space, look into a coop instead of paying rent, or just stay put and save.

Wedding planning was much easier!
