Duet Brides please FM me

Hey Newlyweds!
Well FH and I have agreed that Duet offers the most for the $. One thing before I book, as I just want to be done w/photographers already. I have looked at about 9 of them.
Which photographers did you have? Anyone have Eric?
ALso how was the language barrier the day of. I have seen some reviews and they were good, but i'm just a little nervous. We are taking pics before hand..and seeing each other. I just want all of your honest opinions....no sweetening them if you weren't happy. Thanks girls!!!!!!!!

Eric is the owner. He is a videographer. I had him for my video and I had alberto and woo for my photographers. I just got my proofs back this past week and they are AMAZING!!!! I cant comment on my video yet b/c I havent seen it!
There was no language problems AT ALL the day of. They were so great and easy going to work with! I hardly even noticed them most of the time! I am shocked that they took as many pictures as they did! When I was looking through my proofs multiple times I saw pictures of a time when I had NO CLUE they were even in the room. I literally didnt see them and were shocked and excited to have these special moments on film.
If you have any concerns with the language issue ask for Alberto - He spoke perfectly and myself, my husband and our 12 person bridal party didnt have a problem understanding a word he said.

I am a very satisfied former Duet bride, so I can probably answer most of your questions

As Soon2bMsZ said, Eric is the owner and also one of the videographers. We dealt with Eric and Nicole with all our pre-wedding and post wedding arrangments, but the day of our wedding we had Alberto and Sung for photography, and Hung for video.

Alberto does more photojournalistic type photography, Sung does more traditional poses. Hung did our video and he was just amazing - I cannot stop watching our video it is awesome! As Maxine said they captured so many things on film and video that I never had any idea they were even taking!

I guess the best thing I can say about the phograhers/videography is that they are not intrusive at all - you NEVER notice them there, yet they capture all the moments that you could wish for

As for language barrier - I have heard this come up repeatedly by concerned brides to be, but honestly there is no problem communicating with the photographers/videographer . First of all they all have tons of experience and are highly professional , so they know exactly what to take, how to take it, etc. NOt to mention our particular staff was SO accomodating, never lost their patience (with 3+ kids in the wedding they never missed a beat) and really just put us at ease. Alberto and Sung spoke perfect English and were just a pleasure to work with

I still receive compliments from so many guests who really LOVED the way the photographers were not 'in their face' and as I've previously said, the end product was amazing

Duet Proofs

I used Duet and thought they were great..I thought the language barrier would be a problem, but it really wasnt. All I do is rave about them to everyone! They were great to work with before the wedding, the day of the wedding and now. We are extremely satisfied with our proofs and our video... I just got an email with some of our album layout too, and I love that too..

I Highly highly recommend them!!


oh...i dont remember the names of everyone though...We had Eric and 3 other guys.

ERIC, ALBERTo, and WOO did the photography for our wedding day, and they did an excellent job. As far as the video goes, it came out excellent too, but I am not sure of the guys name that shot it....Im not sure if he spoke english
