Duet Brides...FYI

FYI..

I just got an email from them stating that they're behind on their editing and that the album layouts/edited video that were supposed to be done this week (after being told 5 weeks ago that they would be done in 5 weeks) are going to take an additional 2 months.

So much for having everything before Xmas :(

Just wanted to give you gals a heads up!

(BTW...they were totally on-time and accurate for proofs, thank you cards, and reprints)

I submitted my stuff couple of weeks ago, I wasnt expecting it until after Christmas... so I guess it will take longer.... thanks for the info

Im having a similar problem with my proofs. They said 4-5 weeks, but Im all ready going on week 6
I was hoping to have the proofs to show my mom before she moves to florida, but she's leaving this saturday and I havent heard back from them

I got my proofs in 4 weeks but made a bunch of changes on the album layout they did so haven't gotten the album yet.

I am so annoyed. My video is supposed to be done this week, so I sent Nicole an e-mail on Monday asking when I could pick it up and never got a response. Usually she responds very quickly, so I thought this was odd, but I didn't read too much into it. Now, after reading this post, I feel like she's dodging the question.

And, maybe this is paranoid and neurotic of me, but the longer that our irreplacable baby pictures are lying around a busy office, the less comfortable I am with the situation. Now I really wish I had scanned them and given them a CD instead of handing over origibnals and risking them being misplaced...ugh.

Nicole is out on maternity leave. You need to call the office directly. Or email Sue.

Thanks for the update about the maternity leave. She really should have an away message or have her e-mail forwarded, though.

I forwarded the e-mail to Sue. If I don't get a response today, I'll call the office tomorrow. So we shall see how it all turns out...
