Dumb What to Wear Question

Okay, so I know its very taboo to wear white to someone elses wedding.... now heres the dumb question.....

I have a dress where the base color is white, but theres black floral print all over it. Its a long dress.

Yay or nay for this August wedding? Im thinking nay bc its LONG and white and black, but I wanted to see other peoples thoughts.

sorry NEGATIVE - I personally would not do it.

okay, now ...heres the twist. I have an engagement party is August too...except the bride is having a muslim wedding, and not wearing a white dress. Do you think it would be okay to wear to that??

Im thinking the long is good b/c its more modest

Hmm no for the first wedding but the engagement part for the muslime bride...maybe. Its long which is great for the modesty factor but how low is it in front? Doesnt look too scooped in the pic but on you are the ladies covered? if they are then I would say you could get away with it.
