I got a cd of wedding proofs from my photog, and i uploaded them to snapfish, and it is giving me an alert that the resolution is too low and the pics may look grainy. Should I have gotten a dvd? Can you upload pics from a dvd to snapfish and make a ty card? TIA

Re: dvd vs cd for wedding proofs
Even if you got them on DVD they may still below resolution-is it in your contract that you are supposed to receive High Res pics?

Re: dvd vs cd for wedding proofs
Im not really sure. I thought he said that the dvd would be hi-res but the format of the picture files was not jpegs, so dh thought it was better to get the cd, because it would be easier to use and email the pics.
If its not in my contract does that mean its not possible to get them?

You may be able to get them but you might pay more for them, your DH is correct they will be in a different format. I would check your contract and see what it says-if it says nothing then call your photographer and find out if you can receive hi-res pics

Re: dvd vs cd for wedding proofs
ok, thank you so much. I made a 5' x 7' ty card and the preview of the pics looks ok, not too grainy or blurry. I think the cd pics may be fine for my purposes. Thanks again.
