I know a few people who have been married, over 5 years++, who only use their wedding band. Not the e-ring.

Also, my cousin who will be married for 10 years, never-ever takes her wedding band & e-ring off. I take both of mines off, immediately, when I get home.

What do you girls do? Also, I never were it to the gym

I pretty mcuh never taked them off. Mostly just if I cooking something that I have to mix with my hands or if I'm cleaning with harsh chemicals or if I'm putting on lotion. I know I probably should when I go to the beach and stuff, but I just feel safer with it on then off.

I pretty much only wear my rings when I leave the house.

And in this heat, I sometimes do not wear my e-ring because my finger can swell inside of it (it's an antique and hard to explain but the underside of the ring is hollow).

I don't think I have ever slept with my rings on, since I first got my E-ring. I don't wear any jewelry to bed. I usually put my rings on when I leave the house and don't wear them when I am at the gym, beach or when I cook and clean.

Me too. I haven't worn my ering all summer, since my college reunion in June when my fingers swelled from the heat and it got stuck.

I wear both rings... more bling! Actually my wedding band is pretty thin that's why. It's really meant to be worn together.

I don't wear mine when I'm cleaning, sometimes cooking (depends upon if it's messy), home improvements and the shower. Sometimes I wear them to bed, sometimes not. In this heat my rings fit a little snug but in the winter (some days) my e-ring would twist around.

DH takes his off as soon as he gets home.

I pretty much only wear my rings when I'm outside the house and only on RARE occasions wear it to bed (ie if I'm staying at a hotel and don't want to lose, forget or misplace them.)

I wear my e-ring and my wedding band all the time. I never take them off. I also, have a second wedding band that was dh's grandmother's that I used to wear it all the time, but it is too delicate I wear it only on special occasions.

I said yes. But I only take it off in my house, because usually i'm cleaning and sleeping.

I don't wear my e-ring anymore, unless I'm going out with my DH or I have a meeting at work. I wear my wedding band all day, every day though...and I so shouldn't because it's filthy!

I don't wear my e-ring if I'm cleaning, swimming, or riding my bike. I don't want it to get damaged or lost. I also don't wear it when I'm sleeping usually, though I leave my wedding ring on to sleep.

Sometimes my work takes me into less than stellar neighborhoods also, and I usually take it off then and just wear the wedding ring.

I wear both rings all the time. Sleep, shower, etc... I have taken it off when I paint or do something i think might dirty it up..but very rarely.

Take mine off when cleaning, exercising, cooking, showering, going in hot tub/pool, etc but mainly keep it on...also sleep in it since it feels safest on me!

I take it off at night, and put it back on after showers in the AM.

I too do not wear e-ring the gym... not that I go anymore but when I did, I didn't wear it...

I usually take them off when I sleep or cook something messy. When i got pg, I couldn't wear both the e-ring and band bc my fingers swelled. I wore both for the first time in over 6 months when we went to a wedding on Sat.

I really am not good with jewelry and unless its on me I don't wear it - always forget to put it on.

i normally wear my wed band. whether it's to the gym or to dinner it's always on. as for my e-ring i wear it during dinners and other special events. and now that it's summer time i wear both less. it just gets so uncomfortable.
