Early episodes of SATC...

I was a late SATC watcher and although I have seen all the episodes I mostly watch the later ones. Right now Im watching the earlier episodes on TBS and I cant believe how much Carrie SMOKED! Its really annoying me! Every scene shes puffin on a stupid cigarette. UGH

Yes! Its crazy! Did she end up quitting??? I don't remember a turning point??

Also the first episode ever...I think its a pilot - its awful! She talks to the camera a lot!

Its crazy! All the episodes I have seen and I dont remember if she ever quit smoking on one of the episodes or just cut down. The girl was a walking chimney though.

And thats the other thing I hated. All the talking to the camera. Even when they would do the little bits where they interviewed the people on the street for their opinions. Im glad they stopped that.

Sorry to crash but I have watched every episode like 100 times each (NO LIFE HERE) anyway I believe she stopped the heavy smoking when she met Aidan because he hated it. Then she started again then quit again. By the end of the show she barely smoked in the movie I don't think she did at all.

I heard she is a smoker in real life still to this day.

They did the interview thing and talking to the camera in the first episodes because that was more like the book. I guess they figured out pretty quickly that didn't work!

Ooh thanks!! i remember how Aidan hated it! Thats right. Im glad she cut down cause it was out of control in the early episodes.
