Re: Easter Gift Help
I sort of think kids get so much candy at Easter, I would rather give a toy or something else. What about a DVD Bolt is a cute movie (not sure how old your newphew is), make a basket filled with crayola products, coloring books.
For the kids at my daycare I made them all playdough baskets, I bought Easter buckets from walmart 97 cents each. Than I got 2 packs of playdough tools from walmart (spilt them among the baskets)I think 10.00 a piece, I also got a huge pack of cookie cutters (spilt them among the baskets) and I got 3 packs of playdough for each kid. I filled up the basket with playdough tools and playdough. I also got sesame street board books in the dollar bins at Target.

Re: Easter Gift Help
how about a cute stuffed bunny? I love Snoopy, so I always get the holiday Snoopy's. I used to do an easter egg hunt with my nieces with the plastic eggs. i put candy or money in the eggs.

Re: Easter Gift Help
I just came from Walgreen's... they have a lot of those little plastic eggs with characters on them (Disney, Spider Man, Dora, Hannah Montana, etc) and some of them have Skittles, Starburst, or jelly beans... no nuts.
Other ideas are books, puzzles, coloring books, crayons, sidewalk chalk, stickers, etc. I also picked up the movie Bolt for DH's niece and nephew. I want to see it too!

I just made 2 Easter baskets for DH's little cousins.
As far as candy goes...you can get Peeps and Jelly beans.
I also got them these easter eggs that were filled with Play- dough...so cute....they also had colored chalk.
