Dh is watching something I dont know what....but they are eating and cooking dog and deer penis (yea gross) and they are saying that in the culture dogs are not considered pets and they see not connection to them....then they showed sidewalk markets with dog bodies and heads roasted......im in tears those poor babies

I was just about to say this is most likely chinese culture. This is why i dont eat chinese or meat anymore!

The woman who owned this restaurant claimed that in their culture they believe eating the penis of these animals made men more sexual and helped their sex life.....its NOT scientifically proven. She goes on to say, we breed these animals FOR this and we dont see any sort of connection with them. While she says this there are like 10 dogs around her wagging their tales and following her around

And this is a normal thing, its considered a delicacy and EVERYONE eats it. When they showed other things they eat~worms, centipedes, brains, intestines, scorpions~I mean eating this stuff like it was a candy bar..........

Im all about learning about other cultures and I know and understand that things we eat etc. arent considered 'good' in other countries etc. but it was sooo disturbing to watch that i feel like there should have been a warning on the show or something

that's what i was going to say! We've been watching his shows a lot lately. It's definitley interesting. I love it when something is so gross that HE won't even eat it! That dude eats everything!

No it was something else, it had a LONG name.
It was on the discovery channel and it was more of a documentary, they went thru a whole bunch of different cultures.
