Effin ouch.

I had the *surgery* this morning... The Novocain wore off... and

OUCH MOTHER F*CKER.

OUCH OUCH OUCH... my whole head is pounding... I must have a high tolerance for pain meds b/c not even THEY are working..

I want to die

It was a horrible experience... I can hear everything, and feel cutting and scraping and smelling ... It was gross...

but on a good note, the doctor doesn't seem too worried about the cyst being cancerous.

The area around my stitches is swollen and I have a big turkey neck, but it'll heal in about a week.

Pain suckassssssssss. Call the dr's office for a stronger scrip - tell them what you have isn't working.

On another note, did you have surgery in your mouth (or neck?)? Cuz I've heard the mouth stuff is just... ouch.

under my chin... I had a cyst growing to the size of a small colony...

I *would\* call, but I don't want to seem like I'm looking for drugs... He wasn't going to give me ANYTHING, just told me to take tylenol, but I know myself with head pain... I don't take it well.. So I asked for the STRONG tylenol...

I need some mother effin vicodin man... lol

Ok you sound like me - after my surgery NOTHING was working for the pain. I had GENERAL anesthesia, a NERVE BLOCK for my entire arm, and a PAIN PUMP going straight into my arm giving me pain meds...

and I was still in pain!!!

I was afraid to ask for more meds b/c I really thought they'd think I was a druggie! But I had to and they finally gave me something that worked. Also, a few weeks after my surgery I was still in a LOT of pain - the vicodin wasn't working. I finally went in to my dr's office and I was in tears from the pain and asked if they could change my meds - they gave me stronger vic and I can't tell you how much better it was.

JUST ASK!!!!!! It's not worth it to be in pain!

Also, I find that so long as you don't ask for a SPECIFIC medicine, it doesn't seem like you're an addict - just tell them that what you have is not working, can they change it up PLEASE?

I agree w/ Yesi, I'd call and ask for a different prescription TODAY. No one will be in the office tomorrow and you don't want to be miserable all weekend. Feel better!!!

hahahah I just passed one of my neighbors in the hallway and I told her about my stitches and how the pain medication isn't doing jack..

she said 'stop by my apt... I have percocets, I'll have you high in no time...'

gotta love my neighbors!!

ha ha, wonder if you ran into my MIL.
She takes percocet everyday for her severe osteoarthitis.

There's Tylenol IN percocet, so in a way, you are following doctor's orders as far as pain meds. .
