I had the *surgery* this morning... The Novocain wore off... and

OUCH MOTHER F*CKER.

OUCH OUCH OUCH... my whole head is pounding... I must have a high tolerance for pain meds b/c not even THEY are working..

I want to die

It was a horrible experience... I can hear everything, and feel cutting and scraping and smelling ... It was gross...

but on a good note, the doctor doesn't seem too worried about the cyst being cancerous.

The area around my stitches is swollen and I have a big turkey neck, but it'll heal in about a week.

I don't know if this will help or not, but I was in a lot of pain off and on for the last month and a half with severe infections in my teeth that went into my jaw (one right after the other) and a root canal in a 3rd tooth to top it all off. My endodontist told me to take 3 Advil, then 3 hours later take 2 Tylenol, then 3 hours later take 3 Advil and so on. Believe it or not this pain med rotation worked better than plain Vicoden or plain Tylenol with Codeine. I would actually set my alarm at night every 3 hours to make sure the medicines stayed at the same level. At the most painful times he had me swap out the regular Tylenol with either the Vicoden or Codeine (they both have Tylenol in them), but it took the edge off of the pain at the very least. Feel better!

I never realized that you could take them at the same time like that, but it has to do with how the Advil and Tylenol work differently in your body or something.
